Nestled on a lush palm studded island on the edge of a lagoon in the heart of the northern Okavango Delta lies Shinde Island Camp. Set under the branches of mangosteen and African ebony trees there are eight Meru tents with covered veranda an en-suite shower and toilet. The main unit is a multi tiered, wood and canvas structure with teak decking. This houses the dining, lounge and bar areas. There is a plunge pool, which offers welcome respite during the heat of the day Shinde Island Camp closes annually from 01 December to 28 February.
