XXaxaba, meaning "Island of Tall Trees"; is probably one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of the world. Accommodation is in 12 well-apportioned tents under thatch. Each of the luxurious tents has en-suite facilities, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mosquito net canopy over the bed, and mini-bar. A raised viewing platform with a hammock and comfortable chairs encourage one to relax and enjoy the view and abundant bird life of the area. The main guest areas consist of a lounge, bar and dining room all of which are under thatch in an open fronted building. During the day a large swimming pool provides welcome relief.
