Nestled amidst the dunes in the heart of the Namib Rand Nature Reserve approximately 80 km southeast of Sossusvlei is Wolwedans Dunes Camp. This rustic tented camp consists of six units and a lapa, which consists of a lounge and dining area. There is a spacious veranda, which is an ideal meeting place for sundowners and stargazing. The entire camp is constructed on wooden platforms and overlooks panoramic vistas, which capture the ambience of the desert. Each tented unit has a spacious veranda, a private adjacent bathroom with shower and toilet, and is equipped with solar powered lights. The camp closes annually from 30 November until 28 February.
