"Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another."

Kanana Lodge | Okavango Delta PDF Print E-mail

Kanana Camp (Setswana for 'paradise,') is located in the remote inner reaches of the Okavango Delta. The 8 tents are built on stilts to insure a good view of the floodplains for all guests. The communal areas of the camp are also built up on stilts overlooking these floodplains. The area is excellent for both walking, and enjoying an excursion by mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe), allowing guests to experience the bush in its true form. Motorboat excursions to the Xo Lagoon are also offered when the lagoon is in flood and game viewing in 4 x 4 vehicles is also available. There are regular sightings of leopard, Pel's Fishing Owl and lion.
